01 · Kick-off
I've wrangled data about ships, then oil wells, then internet creators. Money feels like the obvious next step, so I'm looking for a data engineering job in fintech or banking.
Off the clock I run, lift, and take Real Madrid results personally.

What's going wrong at your club? Pick up to three problems and I'll send out whoever has handled it before. Every number comes from real work.

Yes, that's twelve players and two keepers. SQL and Python both refused to sit on the bench, so I stopped asking.

Three clubs and one trip back to school, and nobody has relegated me yet. Newest first. Open any fixture for the match report.
Brands wanted to find the right creators, so I worked on the scoring logic that ranks them and put the results in views brands could use without asking anyone.
Production is no place to try out a schema change, so I set up a separate Supabase staging environment, with CI/CD and migrations synced over from production automatically.
Then came Row-Level Security, so each brand only sees its own data, plus indexing and query rewrites so nobody waits as long to see it.
After two years at ExxonMobil I went back to school for a master's in computer science. Call it a very long pre-season.
Along the way I picked up the Snowflake and IBM data engineering certificates, plus Bloomberg Market Concepts, because if I'm going to work around money I should probably speak the language.
Drilling data comes from everywhere and agrees on very little. I built ETL pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Databricks to get it all into Snowflake and Azure Data Lake Gen2.
I led the Hole Section Grading project (yes, that's its real name), which turned data from many sources into one standard set of KPIs. Evaluation errors fell 15%, and it earned me 2 leadership recommendation letters.
I also automated our deployments through GitHub, which cut deployment time by 82%.
On top of the pipelines sat the Spotfire and Power BI reports. 200+ engineers adopted them, and they generated $5M in annual savings.
Where it started: an internship at a shipping company, building SQL dashboards for fuel use, voyage duration and maintenance.
Compliance tracking improved 20% and vessel turnaround time dropped 12%. Turns out ships behave better when someone is watching the numbers.

Three projects, no screenshots. Each one gets a single number to make its case.
I hit Immortal 1 and still wanted a second opinion, so I built a coach that has to show its work. Every stat traces back to its raw rows, and a Watchdog re-checks each one before it's allowed to speak.
0bytes of drift, or CI fails the build
Six AI agents run a portfolio and audit themselves. Python sets the risk limits before the LLM gets a vote, because I've met LLMs. A four-step Decision Trace explains every allocation.
6agents, zero say on risk limits
A hackathon search engine for finding the right creators. Keyword search and embeddings each had their own opinion, so Reciprocal Rank Fusion makes them settle it.
2ndplace. I'm fine about it.

The certificates that matter for this job, and links so you can check I'm not making them up. The rest are on the bench, including one on solar cells.

SQL, Spark, Airflow, Kafka and a capstone. I took it after two years of doing the job, which is a striker going back for shooting drills.

Clips coming soon. I'm being picky, since my best rounds and my recorded rounds have rarely met.

You made it to full time, which is more than most résumés get. If you've got data that needs questioning, I'd like to hear about it. I reply faster than VAR.
